RBI has imprinted 30 thousand crore rupee notes.There is mistakes in the notes of Rs.1000. 20 million notes held by the central bank but 10 million are in the market.The case came to light after the suspension of some employees in Hoshangabad and Nashik.

- According to RBI, 5AG and 3AP series notes of 1 thousand were printed without the silver security thread.
- Firstly these currency paper came out of from The Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India.
- After that,these notes came in the RBI press in Nashik.
- These notes are now being deposited back.
- The Reserve bank now has nearly 6 million notes are stored.
- The Reserve bank and the Finance Ministry has decided to burn these notes.

- Check the thousand rupee note that you have whether it is 5AG or 3AP series?
- See the note in front of the light.You'll see the letter 'L' below the first digit.
- You'll not see the silver security thread in the front side of the note.
- If all three points are true, then you have wrong printing note.
- According to the RBI's letter of September 14, 2015,banks have not been asked to issue such notes.
- If such notes are taken from customers, RBI has asked to exchange value after examining notes.
How the case unfolded?
- The printing of the paper has been prepared in security paper mill of MP Hoshangabad.
- Here paper being made by the German automatic machine PM -5 from the last year.
- The quality of paper build by this machine is better than imported paper.
- 200 employees work with the help of this machine instead of 1200 employees.
- The security thread has been put in the paper build by this machine.Two machines are also in Nashik.
- The initial disturbances happened in Hoshangabad.The PM -5 machine was shut for a week when its detected.Two managers was suspended.
- This paper came Nashik from Hoshangabad.30 million notes of 1000 rs were printed here.
- RBI removed a third note for circulation, two-thirds retained.
- According to the sources, the first complaint of these notes came from Panipat.
- Three Employees of Nashik Currency Note Press were also suspended on Monday in the case of negligence.Four others were issued notice.
